Choosing the right videographer
Choosing the right videograher for your job is not a complicated task. Choosing the wrong video production team may result in a lot of dissapointment and tears. Here is a few very important guidelines:
1. How big are these peoples' businesses and how many years experience do they have?
2. Check out their references, eg other weddings and what do these people say about them
3. Visit their production studio and check out the studio, editing equipment, etc.
4. Obtain Demo DVDs of more than one type of video production they produced
6. Look at the video- and sound quality of their productions. Also note the style of their filming. You like?
7. Do they have a fixed Physical Address, Telephone Number , Cell Phone Number, EMAIL Address, Website, Bank Account, etc?
8. Look at the professionalism of the documentation they use, eg. the quotations, receipts, invoices, etc.
9. How do they behave on functions and do they dress accordingly?
10. Are their personal interviews, before the production is finalized, sufficient and professional?
11. How do their tarrifs compare to other video production companies in the same area? A cheap price does not guarantee your best option. Why is Company X expensive and Company Y cheap?
12. Make sure that you know exactly what you will get and that they know what you want.
